Power Vote

The economy is tanking, gas prices are skyrocketing, asthma rates are staggering, and we're pouring billions of dollars into a war with very little public support. Most Americans believe we’re on the wrong track.

But it doesn't have to be that way.

Power Vote, a national non-partisan effort spearheaded by the Energy Action Coalition, aims to bring millions of young voters together in demanding political leadership with an inspiring vision for our future.

A vision that will revitalize our economy and protect communities. One that will create jobs while reducing global warming pollution. One that will end the economic chokehold of giant corporations who are raking in billions of dollars in giveaways and record profits.

This November, young people will go to the polls in record numbers demanding a clean, just and prosperous energy future. We recognize that we can and must fight pollution and poverty at the same time. It’s time for a clean energy economy that puts millions to work restoring our environment and eliminating our dependence on foreign oil.

We have the technology and ingenuity we need to move to a new, clean energy economy that develops solutions like efficiency, wind and solar power and sustainable transportation.

With Power Vote we will make clean energy and a new, green economy top priorities in this election. We will get millions of our friends pledged to vote and support clean and just energy. We will vote in record numbers on November 4. And we will hold every elected representative accountable to making our vision a reality.
